Trained Eye
For this project we tested our artistic eye and had an image and told our partner what to draw without them knowing what it was. To describe what they were drawing, we could only use lines, shapes, and color. We couldn't say a lake if there was a lake in the picture. This image is a picture I chose to describe to my partner, one of the easier ones. After we finished, we took one of the images and changed it.
Avatar
For this project we took two pictures of ourselves using photobooth. We then took those pictures and mainly using the warp tool, changed ourslelves in two different ways. Then we added a background to it that had something to do with our picture

For this project we chose a product and used photoshop to advertise and promote it. We didn't have many guidelines, just to make what you think will promote the product the best. I chose to promote the iPad by Macintosh. It is partially influenced by the "iPad is" commercial.

Abstract
This was a mini project we did inspired by the movie we watched about Marla Olmstead, the four year old abstract artist. After watching the movie, we did a project using photoshop creating a abstract picture of our own. In my project, I used the brush tool and then the smudge tool on top of my brush strokes.

Group Chair
For this project we uploaded a picture of a chair of our choice and used artwork all inspired by one artist. We put pieces or strips of the artwork on our chair. Then, we learned how to make shadows by using the warp tool. We worked with a partner on this project and I worked with Loki.

Leaves
It was a beautiful day and we decided to go out and take pictures of leaves. This is one of the pictures I took and I desaturated it. After that, I used the history brush tool to bring back the color of only one tree, the tree that had the brightest colors in it.

Inside/Outside Anatomy
This project we did was inspired by the album cover from Christina Aguilera's album, Bionic. The album cover is her face split in two, the left side her normal face and the right side a bionic robot's face. We created an image similar to this using whatever we wanted, but we had to show the outside and then the inside should be visible in some way. I chose to do an iPod. All of the iPod looks normal except for the control pad and the screen which is cut out so the inside of the iPod is visible.

Comic Strip
For this project we worked in groups. We were to create a story by making a comic strip. We used filters to make it look like a comic. Then, we went back and colored it in. We learned how to use filters and make charts using the ruler guide or a graph guide and the line tool.
Filtered Self-Portrait
This project we did to learn how to use filters. We took a picture of ourselves using photobooth on our computer and used the same image eight times. The difference in each picture was what filters we used to distort the image.
Visual Puns
This project we used play on words to create a project. We combined two or more pictures to combine to show the play on words. An example would be dreadlocks, the hair style can also be taken as dread and locks like a pad lock.
All About You
This project was used to teach us about negative space. We took our picture and used our silhouette from it. We filled our silhouette with pictures or objects that represent our personality. Most of my pictures have to do with horses because riding horses is my main interest.

Crazy Combos
This project was a fun project where we got to create some kind of creature. We had to have at least eight layers. Mine is a kangaroo type animal with varied body parts from all different animals.
15 Green Things
This is a project we did using 15 random pictures that were all green. We had to create an image using some part of every picture. We also changes the colors of each picture to make it pop out more.
