This piece is incorporating the splash effect we learned in the tutorial handout packet. I went to the site it suggested, fotolia.com for images to use. I took a strawberry hanging off the stem, and cut the bottom of the strawberry off. Then, following the tutorial, I added the splash effect to the bottom of the strawberry, making it look like an effect following the strawberry being cut. The only thing I had trouble with was adjusting the splash color from the previous blue to the red of a strawberry. Overall, I am fairly please with how this piece came out.

ReplyDeleteother folks had trouble with the splash colors, but when they went back to the projects later, they figured it out.
also -- post your "safety" custodian poster so i can give you credit. :)
